The eco lodge is a converted barn renovated using local, traditional and sustainable materials. The exposed beams and hand carved features create a unique space, full of character.
The lodge is all open plan with a spacious kitchen, well stocked with pans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, as well as a bespoke wood burning oven and heating system.
The lodge runs entirely from renewable energy provided by our wind turbine, solar panels and solar water heating. The grey water is filtered through a reed bed system, producing clean water to feed our plants and keep the frogs in our pond happy. The lodge is fitted with an easy to use, modern compost loo to ensure an eco-friendly stay!
At the top of the handmade staircase there is a mezzanine floor with double bed, original low beams (watch your head!), a relaxation area and bathroom, where you can enjoy a solar heated bath. Perfect for a romantic retreat! At the front of the lodge there is a private seating area, underneath our fragrant fig tree, an ideal spot for a leisurely breakfast.
All bedding is provided, as well as natural, homemade toiletries produced here on the farm. We provide a welcome hamper filled with homemade goodies and locally sourced essentials for your stay. Seasonal vegetables and fruit, as well as eggs and freshly baked sourdough bread are available from our farm shop. You are also very welcome to join us one evening for dinner. Yoga mats, bikes and board games are available for you to borrow. If there is anything else you need just let us know.

As the Eco Lodge is all open plan there are no 'bedrooms' (but we do have screens for privacy). The lodge is set up to sleep up to 4 people, with double beds upstairs and downstairs, but there is ample space to accommodate more people on request.
